Mask download masks 1-40 unzip to your masks folder.

Template Download 31-40
unzip to your fav template folder. (Open folder find Template
33 & minimize)

This Tutorial was created using Corel's Paint Shop Pro®
with the understanding that you have a working knowledge of this program.


(I used PhotoX2 but you should have no
trouble recreating it with earlier versions of PSP)


Summer is my favorite season, Chili's kit made me think summer so you get a summer tut..lol Since Chili's kit is PTU i used a FTU image please visit Anyama's site she has some fantastic art and remember without the free to use artists lots of people would not be able to enjoy the joys of tag making!

Open a new image 500w X 500h Resolution 72.000 Pixel/inch
Raster Background transparent checked > Click OK

Open Chili Designz KeepIt Simple paper3
Image>Resize by 15% then again by 93%

** Now i'm gonna teach you a little trick. DROP N DRAG
You should have two images open on your workspace one is paper 3 the other is new image you just made in step one, place the two sideby side *make paper active and click on the paper in the layers pallet hold left mouse button down and drag n drop paper onto the new image**
*WOOHOO i know better than copy n paste as new layer.*

Load mask from disk find BabesDesignzMask7
Source luminace> Fit to Canvas > Show all mask
all checked Click Load.
In your layers pallet right click Merge group.

Open BabesDesignz Template33 press and hold shift key type the letter D this will duplicate the image as a new image. Close Babes original. Image resize > all layers checked by 90% then select "masked" layer of template resize again by 90% but uncheck all layers. Now DROP N DRAG each of the template layers Starting at the bottom**except the white bg** onto your new image.

** if your like me and you never save your work in progress this is a good spot to remember save this file as a psp image ( i created a WIP folder in my psp files folder eg: C:\Users\Xtenziv\Documents\My PSP Files\WIP) **

Open Chili Designz KeepIt Simple paper4 Image>Resize by 15% then again by 93% now copy paper.

Return to your tag add a new raster layer above Large template shape
select the shape layer > selections >select all >float > defloat make the new layer active >Edit > Paste Into Selection , i found it left a little shadow like edge abound the shape if you don't like this then delete black template layer.

Open Chili Designz KeepIt Simple lily Image Resize by 30% DROP N DRAG to tag and resize again by 60% move up and over to the right just over the template edge. Duplicate and move the bottom one up a little.

Open your Tube and resize to your liking i resized by 80% then added a
dropshadow Vert = -5 Horizontal = -9 opacity 68 and blur 7

Open Chili Designz KeepIt Simple lime Image Resize by 40% Drop n drag to tag and resize again by 25% move it over to the left corner of the tube duplicate and move it up near the lilys.

Open Chili Designz KeepIt Simple beadstring Image Resize by 20% Drop n drag to tag move it down to cover the flat bottom of the tube.

Add your name i used the font aaaiight size 48 choose a color from your tube for fill and black for stroke >Stroke width 1

Click on layer 1 and flood fill with the color of your choise i made mine black.


Add your copyright information and licence # if any. If you made your

background black
you should either use white for that info or use a gradient glow of your liking.


Merge All Flatten and your done.

Dreamer

O.k i'm in the process of moving all my Tuts to this page so this one is an old tut Originally posted Sunday Feb 1st 2009~

Mask is WSL_Mask 299 By Chelle Masks are found in the navigation link.

Place these files in your masks folder.

Open a new image 500 X 500 transparent and flood fill white

Open BD-DreamerPaper7 copy and paste to new image as a new layer.

Apply WSL_Mask299, source luminance> show all mask> fit to layer.
right click the mask in layer pallet, merge group a pop up may ask if you want it merged to layer below click yes

click on your preset shape rectangle in your materials pallet make your Forground null background #7f797b>
width 8, draw out a mid size rectangle shape.

Effects> 3d effects > inner bevel> Bevel 12 > Width 15 > Smooth 15> Depth 20> Ambiance 40> Shine = 20 > color white
>Angle 315 > Intensity 43 > Elevation 46.


With your magic wand tool click inside shape, Mode: replace> Matchmode: RGB> br>Tolerance: 8 >
checked contiguous and Antialias >Feather:0 outside selected in drop down.
press delete on your keyboard

move the frame around a lil so it lines up with the mask better.

Open and copy Zindy's Pretty dreams image, paste as a new layer under your frame layer.

selections> modify> expand by 4 then selections> Invert

Adjust> blur> Gaussian blur > radius 11 once done deselect.

Then add a drop shadow to your frame layer i used Vert -1> Horiz -2> opac 35> blur 3> color Black.

Open and copy BD-Dreamer flower3 paste to tag as a new layer and resize by 50%

Free rotate your image to the left by 30 then resize again by 90%.

Add a drop shadow i used Vert 4> Horiz 2> opac 35> blur 3> color Black.

Open and copy BD-Dreamer-Heart Ribbon2 paste to tag as a new layer and resize by 63%, repeat drop shadow.

Open and copy BD-Dreamer-Journal and resize by 50%

Free rotate your image to the left by 30.

Add a drop shadow i used Vert 2> Horiz 7> opac 45> blur 3> color Black.

Open and copy BD-Dreamer-Pencil and resize by 40% then repeat resize, move to onto of journal

Add a drop shadow i used Vert 2> Horiz 3> opac 35> blur 3> color Black.

Select your font and add your name I used Lainie Day> size 90> create as vector> forground: #6c454a> Background:

#f3ddd8
using the vector rotate (two arrows surrounding) rotate it left a lil and move down over your frame.

Convert to raster layer> add a drop shadow i used Vert 2> Horiz 3> opac 35> blur 3> color Black.

Merge All Flatten and your done.

Alrighty Lets get crackin!
First open a new image 500w X 500h Resolution 72.000 Pixel/inch
Raster Background transparent checked > Click OK

Open Chili Designz Ghost Train paper2
Image>Resize by 70% then again by 90%
**** DO THESE 2 RESIZE STEPS FOR EVERY ELEMENT
WHEN MAKING A 500 X 500 TAG ****

Copy and Paste paper2 to your new image.
Load mask from disk find Vix_Mask395
Source luminace> Fit to Canvas > Show all mask
all checked Click Load.
In your layers pallet right click Merge group.

Open Chili Designz Ghost Train frame2 ** DO THE RESIZE STEPS**
copy and paste to your tag. Move over to the left side of your tag.
I added a dropshadow Vert= -5 Horizontal= -9 opacity 68 and blur 7

Open Chili Designz Ghost Train grass ** DO THE RESIZE STEPS**
copy and paste to your tag, Resize again by 50% place beside the frame.

Open Chili Designz Ghost Train light2 ** DO THE RESIZE STEPS**
copy and paste to your tag. Mirror image over to the Right side of your tag.

Open Chili Designz Ghost Train crow ** DO THE RESIZE STEPS**
copy and paste to your tag. Resize again by 70% place on top of the frame.
Dropshadow Vert = -2 Horizontal = -6 opacity 68 and blur 7

Open Chili Designz Ghost Train moon ** DO THE RESIZE STEPS**
copy and paste to your tag.

Open your Tube and resize to your liking i resized by 80% then added a dropshadow Vert -5

Horizontal-9 opacity 68 and blur 7

Open Chili Designz Ghost Train light2 ** DO THE RESIZE STEPS**
copy and paste to your tag. Drag the light behind your tube if it covers it.

Now you can either go back and copy tube original (only resize if you wish) paste as new image under your frame duplicate 3 times and drag each one around in the frames until you have a piece of the tube in each frame

OR choose diferant tubes from same artist

Then Select your frame2 layer in the layers pallet.
choose your magic wand tool Mode Shift Match mode
Color Tolerance 0 contigous checked feather 0 Anti-alias checked
outside selected in the drop down.

click inside each one of the three frames < Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 click OK
Then selections invert click on each tube layer under the frame and press delete.

Add your name i use the font JI Forked size 48 and i lowered the layer opacity to 76

Click on layer 1 and flood fill with the color of your choise i made mine black.


Add your copyright information and licence # if any.
If you made your background black you should either use white for that info
or use a gradient glow of your liking.


Merge All Flatten and your done.

Gothic Trouble

Mini Scrapkit Trouble by Angie's Asylum. I saved the kit to my 4Shared since her blog seems to be closed.

Font: Rage Italic
(Just having the .TTF file open and minimized on your task bar will allow PsP to detect your font
without you having to install it.)


Mask is WSL_Mask 180 By Chelle Masks are found in the navigate link at the top of her blog and then click on downloads. Place these files in your masks folder.


This Tutorial was created using Corel's Paint Shop Pro® with the understanding

I was trying so hard to avoid the whole copy paste kind of tags but some of them turn out so well
i going to go with the flow for now then get more creative as i go along.



Open a new image 500 X 500 transparent and flood fill white or a color that compliments the page it's being posted on.


Open AApaper1 copy and paste to new image as a new layer.

Apply WSL_Mask180, source luminance> show all mask> fit to layer.
right click the mask in layer pallet, merge group.

Open sxc.hu9Rose1small copy and paste to new image as a new layer.

Apply WSL_Mask180, source luminance> show all mask> fit to layer.
right click the mask in layer pallet, merge group

Paste AA_MiniFrame as a new layer then add a new layer underneath using your rectangle
selection tool select area underneath frame.

Again copy sxc.hu9Rose1small this time paste into selection you just made.

Then add your main tube, resize by 80% apply your fav drop shadow .. mine is V -4 H 2 Opac 50 Blurr 6.

add the other elements that you like from the kit.

Add all your copyrights, **note if you used a black bkg make sure your © info is in a color you can see**
your license info and taggers mark if any.

Merge All Flatten and your done.

Simply a fairytale!

This Tutorial was created using Corel's Paint Shop Pro®

Open a new image 500 X 500 transparent and flood fill with Blue #c2cdcb R194 G205 B203
then Apply WSL_Mask344, source luminance > show all mask > fit to layer all checked.Click to apply
Right click the mask in layers pallet, merge group

find Fountain file resize by 20% and paste as a new layer, YOU CAN CLOSE original FOUNTAIN IMAGE but do NOT save changes going back to your tag resize fountain again by 70% then a third time by 80%
Place it kinda in the middle of your tag.

Open Princess 2 from the kit resize by 20% and paste as a new layer. YOU CAN CLOSE original PRINCESS IMAGE but do NOT save changes back to your tag resize princess again by 80%
add a drop shadow i used V= -3 H= 3 Opac 56 Blur 7 Color black #000000

Open Carriage 3 from the kit resize by 20% and paste as a new layer.
set your tag aside for a minute and open Missy's Princess word art.
Click on Princess layer
selections> select all > float> Defloat> add a new raster layer flood fill with #4dd9f8 R77 G217 B248
delete greyscale.
Click on Crown layer selections> select all > float> Defloat> add a new raster layer flood fill with #b09259 R176 G146 B89
delete greyscale layer
Click on the eye beside white layer(raster 1 to turn visibility off.)

Merge visible layers copy then paste on your tag, resize word art by 70%
( i actually selected each phrase of the word art and pasted them seperatly to make them fit.
add a drop shadow i used V= -3 H= 3 Opac 56 Blur 7 Color black #000000

Now add your text Stroke black change your background fill
properties to #b09259 R176 G146 B89 I used Shark random funnyness size 72.

Add your copyright information and licence # if any.

Merge All Flatten and your done.

Broken Halo

Mask is zuzzanna_mask41 By Zuzzanna
Place this file in your masks folder.

This Tutorial was created using Corel's Paint Shop Pro® with the understanding
that you have a working knowledge of this program.


(I used PhotoX2 but you should have no trouble recreating it
with earlier versions of PSP)


Open a new image 500 X 500 transparent and flood fill white

Open Xtenz10PetalgreyPsP and paste as new layer Resize by 40%
then again by 80%

position flower on the left just below center.
apply a drop shadow I used V -4 H 2 Opac 50 Blurr 6

Duplicate this layer twice.

Add a new layer flood fill #b0a6a1, apply zuzzana_ mask 41 right
click on mask layer in your layers pallet Merge Group.

Move copy1 and 2 of your flower above your mask layer, and postion in the center on both sides

Using your selection tool freehand outline the top solid portion of the mask,Leave the marching ants selected (make sure you leave the white parts of the frame.)

Add 1 tube of choise as a New Layer move around so it shows in top right of your selection apply a drop shadow. I used V -4 H 2 Opac 50 Blurr 6

Make sure image layer is active layer, Selections invert and delete.

repeat this step for 2nd tube of choise. Once you have them in position deselect marching ants and merge the two layers.
Drop opacity down to 50%

Now, in the bottom solid portion of your mask add your name I used vinyl stickons Background #8a7d77 stroke width 1 forground color Black used my pick(deform)tool to deform it so it looked like she was laying on it.

Add main tube image and your drop shadow.

Add Copyrights and licence info your taggers watermark if any. Add your name again i used Lainie Day SH
size 80 same color settings as above.
Merge All Flatten and your done.
